Railroad Jewelry

In the 1920s and '30s, the Fred Harvey Company transformed Southwest tourism. The thunderbird pins produced in this era, made by anonymous Native silversmiths for Harvey House curio shops, became some of the most iconic objects of that golden age of travel. This one has survived nearly a century with all the character intact: a bold turquoise stone anchoring the center, a generous 3" wingspan, and a deep, warm patina that only decades of age can produce.
